How does a person deal with sweat during the dog days of summer? This is a question for the ages. Many people needlessly suffer the uncomfortable feelings of perspiration, when there are actual steps that one can take to reduce sweating in the summertime.
The obvious one of course is to have a good anti perspiring. Nothing can take the place of it, and the right antiperspirant will do wonders to cut down on excessive summertime sweating.

The next bit of advice to reduce summertime sweating would be to limit your intake of coffee and tea during the summertime.

An individual should drink no more than two cups of hot coffee or tea per day in the summer, to drink more than that could significantly raise your body temperature, and cause sweating to be an issue.

How To Get Rid Of Blackheads and Whiteheads?

the blackheads are a common problem that affects all skin types, especially those with oily skin. The blackheads and whiteheads usually occur around the nose, cheeks, chin and forehead.

The blackheads are caused by hardened masses of sebum, formed in the ducts or the sebaceous glands.
They are direct result of skin pores becoming clogged with sebum and dead skin cells.
The whiteheads are tiny, pearly, white raised spots. They are caused due to excessive secretion of sebum oil. The whiteheads usually show up as tiny white spots around the eyes. The same lotions, creams and masks are recommended for whiteheads too.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to reduce the pore size, but you can minimize the amount of gunk that is clogged in them.
In order to prevent the appearance of blackheads you should follow a strict skin care regime. Daily skin cleansing is essential. Wash your face at least twice a day using oil and alcohol-free formulas.

Exfoliate three times per week; apply the exfoliator in circular motions to all affected areas, normally the nose, forehead and chin. The exfoliation encourages a newer, smoother skin surface by helping to unclog pores, prevent further breakouts and diminish blemishes and pigmentation spots.
A regular old scrubbing will clean your complexion, but it is not enough powerful to banish the blackheads since they are an accumulation of dead skin cells, oil and pigment deep within the pores. If you want, some serious purging you should use a cleanser and a toner that contain salicylic acid every morning and night. Make sure you avoid using overly drying cleansers because they can increase your likelihood of experiencing skin irritations and breakouts.

Daytime protective moisturizers will help the skin maintain its suppleness and moisture.
It’s essential to keep the skin clean and hydrated with appropriate cleansing and care, in order to prevent the formation of blackheads, whiteheads and pimples.

Another alternative for dealing with blackheads and enlarged pores are the pore strips. They pull away oil and the build up dirt from the nose, chin or forehead. The strips much be applied to wet skin for several minutes and then peeled away.

Another thing you can do is to ask your dermatologist to prescribe you some medicines, like Vitamin C and Vitamin A for example. These vitamins will speed up cell turnover and prevent old skin cells from clogging your pores.

The steaming is very important to loosen debris that may be imbedded into the skin. Steaming the face is also a useful technique for people with oily or combination skin. It helps control the blemishes, cleanse the face, open the pores and soften the content of the blackheads.

Boil a pan of water and make sure that you remove the pan from the stove. Stand directly over the steam and drape a small towel over your head for keeping the steam from escaping, because it will be more effective in opening the pores.

After steaming wrap a tissue around each of the fingers and apply gentle pressure each side of the blackheads. A little gentle pressure with a finger on each side of the blackhead will squeeze them out.

Remember how to get rid of blackheads:
Violent squeezing must not be used, because it always leads to the formation of little painful boils.

Never use your fingernails as they can carry dirt and can cause further infection
Never prick the pimples, because doing so infects the surrounding area and leaves the scar behind which usually results in dark or red spots.
Masks:
Brook lime lotion

Leaves of brook lime 30gr.
Mineral/spring water 300ml.
Sodium benzonate ?? tsp
Boil the mineral/ spring water and put the brook lime leaves in it. Mix sodium benzonate in it. Mix well. Apply the mixture on the face using cotton. The lotion removes spots, blackheads and little pimples.

Salty deep pore cleanser
4 tsp baking soda
1 cup mineral water
First steam the face. Mix baking soda and one cup of hot water and stir well. Apply to the face and strip until the entire face is covered. Leave the mask on for approximate 10 minutes until it cools off. At the end apply moisturizer. The mask is good for deep cleansing of the pores and helps remove the outer deed skin cells from the face.

Blackheads removal
2 Tbs oatmeal
1tbs honey
Mix the oatmeal and honey together until mixed well. Warm the texture in a microwave. Apply the mask to the face and leave it on for about 20 minutes. Remove the mixture and rinse well with lukewarm water. Do the mask on a regular basis to help eliminate pores from getting plugged with debris.

No Fail , Smooth and Shiny Hair

Want that silky, touchable hair that Pantene Pro V products claim their shampoo will give you? Look no further-you can have that flawless look by spending only a few extra minutes blow-drying your hair! Ditch the designer hair products and follow these simple instructions to give your hair the same beautiful look and soft feeling:
Materials:

Towel

Hairdryer

Brush / Comb

Claw-Clip or barrette

Your usual styling products or a small amount of hair gel for touch-ups
(These may not be necessary after you try this tip.)

Step 1: Twist hair up into a towel in order to remove excess water. How long you keep it wrapped in the towel is up to you-my hair is long, so time permitting, I keep it like that for about 15 minutes.

Step 2: Comb out any tangles and part hair as you wish.

Step 3: Gather hair and twist except for a thin layer at the base of your head. Pin hair atop your head with the clip or barrette.

Step 4: Begin drying the loose hair. (You can use a lower heat setting if you do not have a time restriction.) When hair is complete dry, turn off hairdryer and brush or comb hair.

Step 5: Remove clip and take another section of hair to be dried. Re-twist your hair and replace pin.

Step 6: Repeat step 4 as necessary. For thicker hair, you may need to separate hair into sections several times. My hair is of a medium thickness but long, so I separate it into 3 sections.

Step 7: Once hair is completely dry, brush and style as you wish, or leave it down, as it should be less dried-out and more manageable. If your hair is not completely frizz-free and cooperative, rub a small amount of gel in your hands (a nickel?s worth or a quarter?s worth) and gently smooth over your hair, paying close attention to the ends.

Drying and styling time will vary based on your hair?s thickness and length. Though I do not always have enough time to use this drying technique, it works wonders for my hair for those special occasions!

Approximate Time Required: 10-20 minutes, depending on thickness and length of hair. Long hair takes more.

The Best Ways To Relief Your Stress

Stress Relief After a Long Day or an Eternal Week

Constant stress can wreak havoc on our bodies, our minds and our souls. Some medical problems are triggered by continual stress, and emotional trauma, instability and mild forms of depression are also likely to result. By taking a few moments to de-stress when you feel the levels and intensity rising, you can save yourself from undue anxiety and potential health problems. Below are 20 stress relief options to help you eliminate the physical and mental feelings caused by stress.

Take a Hot Bubble Bath - The soothing suds and warm water can wash your cares away while relaxing your tired, aching muscles. If you want to enhance the healing effects, turn on some soft music, dive into a good book, or just daydream the night away.

Pamper yourself with a Pedicure and a Facial - The softness and smoothness returned to your weary feet may be enough to relax you and help you reduce your stress level, but dont stop there! Use a gentle cleanser and apply a mud-mask and sit back for 10-15 minutes while it works its wonders. If you are feeling especially energetic, cut two cucumber slices to place over your eyes. Think happy thoughts and drift away from the things that trouble you.

Throw on your Comfiest Pajamas and Grab a Good Book! - Snuggling up under the covers in your cozy bed with soft, comfortable clothing can be enough to relax you almost immediately. Find your favorite magazine, pull out a book you have been meaning to read or just put on one of those cooling eye-masks to alleviate them from the cares of the day.

Take a 20-minute Power-Nap if you ve got more things on your To-Do List - Right when you get home from work, shed your business attire and hop into your bed-set your alarm for 20 minutes if you have other things on the evenings agenda, or allow yourself to awake naturally if you have a free schedule. Your energy should return to you in no time!

Exercise - Go for a jog, do some abdominal workouts, aerobics or lift some weights. Exercising renews the body and gives the mind an easy escape from daily troubles.
Fix yourself a Cocktail! – Don t jump overboard with the bottle, but something as small and innocent as a strawberry daiquiri or a fuzzy navel could turn your mood around in a flash. If you aren t old enough to drink yet, make a milkshake in the blender or find a great fresh fruit smoothie recipe online. Munch on some snacks or enjoy the view from your favorite window. Forget your cares and just revel in the moment while you slowly sip your favorite beverage.

Have some Delectable Desserts in the house and Indulge! - Cakes, cookies, pastries, brownies they are all comfort foods to me. Treat yourself to something extravagant and delicious.

Light an Aromatherapy Candle and Play some Soft Music - Close your eyes and imagine whatever peaceful moments come to mind. Relax and think about your hopes and dreams for the not-so-distant future. (Be careful not to leave candles burning unattended).
Convince your Sweetheart to give you a Massage! - A simple back massage or foot massage has been known to greatly reduce stress and send the recipient into a super-relaxed state. Just dont forget to return the favor when your sweetie is having a bad day!

Kick Back in Comfortable Clothes and Look through your Photo Albums - Memories of happy times can easily bring a smile to your face and take you back to days when the tides weren t so turbulent Plan a vacation or a get-together with friends for another photo-taking opportunity to add to your scrapbooks, and the simple act of having something to look forward to should significantly help you cope with your stress.
Start Keeping a Diary or a Journal, just for yourself! - Record your innermost thoughts and feelings, and vent out your angst of the day. It can be very effective to get your troubles off your chest and onto a sheet of paper, where theyll stay for the rest of the night.

Immediate Results for Urgent Needs: Deep Breathing - Take deep breaths when you feel your stress levels begin to escalate. Start by counting to three inhaling and then to three while exhaling. Gradually increase it to five, six or seven as you try to calm yourself from the aggravating element.
Immediate Results for Urgent Needs: Stretching - Especially if you find yourself irritated at work, raise your arms above your head, arch your back and give it a good stretch. Get up from your desk and walk around-five minute breaks are definitely allowed when your sanity is at stake!

Immediate Results for Urgent Needs: Go Somewhere to Be Alone and Have a Good Cry or Confront the Source - I have been on the brink of tears while on the job, and sometimes the best solution to an overly stressful day is to lock yourself in a room (failing that, your car) and let loose. The relief and renewal experienced by letting out a couple of tears rejuvenates the body and the mind. Get mad, get upset, but get over it cry in privacy or express yourself to the afflicting individual-chances are you will feel much better once you confront the agitating factor.
Do Something for YOU - Play an instrument, knit or crochet, work on a scrapbook or partake in another of your hobbies. Lose yourself in the moment and do not think about your stress until you must. Go to bed early with a light heart and dream of happy and carefree moments ahead.

Enjoy a cup of Herbal Tea and a few Cookies or a Good Book - Soothe yourself with a warm beverage and some sweets or get lost in some good reads. Reading can be a great escape from stress because it requires your mind to focus on something other than your own problems.
Order-Out! Indulge in some Comfort Foods or a cup of Hot Cocoa - Avoid making dinner or dessert for the night and call for a pizza, pick up some Chinese food or find a place that makes great seafood to go. Whatever your palate desires, treat yourself (and your family) to a night of take-out.

Try something like Yoga or Meditation to Relieve the Days Stressors - Beneficial results occur by relaxing the body through yoga exercises. Mental, physical and spiritual responses to yoga and meditations can very powerfully reduce stresss effects on your mood and your body in general.

Break out of the Routine! - Do something unusual and avoid the stressors. Your laundry can wait another day or two, run the dishwasher tomorrow and just relax! Get together with a few friends and go on an adventure-leave the town you know and the buildings you inhabit day after day and take a hike, hit up the beach or go sailing on a beautiful body of water.

Spend Time with Loved Ones and Pets! - If they are the ones making you stressed out, you may think about some alone-time, but more times than not, theres nothing quite like that unconditional love freely given by our furry friends who look to us for the same affection.
No matter what stressors affect you from day to day, it is important to try to combat them before they get out of hand. Job related stress could follow you home and may then have an effect not only on you and your body but on your family, too.

Do what you can to reduce stress and ask those who are close to you for advice if you cant find a reasonable alternative to the taxing feelings forced upon you by stress.
Remember: worrying does not get you anywhere - all it does is take up time. Get out there and do something about it!

Look young by Facial Fitness Exercises

Being beautiful on the outside is all about keeping the face young and looking healthy. We know that the absence of wrinkles and sags, as well as having taut, toned, smooth and glowing skin are the signs of youthful and healthy beauty. Some go through so much just to maintain the vigor and agelessness of their faces, so much that they would spend a fortune on face lifts and other procedures that would keep them looking as close to 18 years old as possible.
There is, however, an inexpensive way of retaining youthful beauty, and that is through observing a regular facial fitness routine - that is, exercising the muscles of your face. The idea behind facial fitness is similar to the principle of doing a body workout: by exercising, you build up the muscles of your body and keep them toned and firm.

In case of the face, by exercising the facial muscles regularly, the muscles will be lifted enough to remove the sags, and the skin - sunny glow will be smoothened enough to remove the wrinkles. The blood circulation to the face will also increase with facial exercises, enabling the tissues of the face to repair themselves more quickly.
Maintaining a regular facial fitness routine is easy. It only takes a few minutes of your time and it can be done while watching television or waiting for the stoplight to turn green when driving. Here are a few sample exercises for different areas of the face.

Forehead. This will smooth down the wrinkles of the forehead. Place your fingers just above your brow. Then, with your fingers, pull the skin down. At the same time, try to raise your eyebrows. Repeat this ten times.

Eyelids. To deal with crows' feet at the corners of the eyes, put the thumbs at the corners of the eyes and then shut your eyes tightly. Then, with your thumbs, pull at the skin towards the forehead. Repeat this ten times.
For sagging eyelids, hold your index fingers close to the brow bone. Afterwards, raise your eyebrows. At the same time, try to close your eyes. Again, repeat this ten times.

Cheeks. Form an 'O' with your lips and try to push them forward as fast as you can. Then release the 'O' and smile as widely as you can. Repeat ten times.

Lips. Push your lips outward in a pout as far as you can, then smile. Or you can suck on your finger as hard as you can. Once again, repeat ten times.

Neck. Arch your neck backward and place your hand on your neck just under the chin. After that, let your hand slide downward and push at your collarbone. An alternative to this one would be to push your lower lip outward as far as you can and tilt your chin up toward the ceiling, resting the hand against the collarbone as you are doing so.

Chin. Push your lower lip upward as high as you can. You can also press your thumb on the bone just under your chin and then push your tongue against your lower gums as if it is trying to meet your thumb. Another thing you can do is to tilt your chin up and massage the flesh under it with your thumb with strokes directed towards your neck. These exercises will take care of the double chin.

Just like in total body workouts, facial fitness exercises take time. However, if you truly want to see results on your face, try doing this once or twice a day, five times a week. You will be able to see changes in around a month or two.

WANT TO HAVE SHINY HAIR

Natural Tips for Shiny Hair

Do you long for shiny tresses, but lack the funds for expensive products and treatments?

Don't despair - you don't have to be a supermodel to have gleaming locks. Before you mourn

your lackluster strands, head to the kitchen and try these simple solutions to lock in shine

the natural way.
Sun, wind, saltwater, pollution, and chemicals are just some of the shine-depleting elements

your hair may be subjected to on a daily basis. They can strip your hair of its natural oils

and create build-up leaving it dull and lifeless. Fortunately, Mother Nature has a few remedies to share.

The Alluring Avocado

Mash an avocado (one avocado for short hair, two for long) in a bowl until it forms a thick

paste. Spread the paste on your hair from root to tip and leave on for 20 minutes. Shampoo

and rinse. Avocados are high in fatty acids and nutrients. Feed your hair!

Amazing Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix half a cup of apple cider vinegar with one quart of water and use as a hair rinse after

your regular shampoo. Rich in alpha-hydroxy acids, apple cider vinegar helps break down

residue build-up leaving your hair soft and full of shine. Rinse your hair with apple cider

vinegar and it will be shining in no time.

Eggs Over Olive Oil

Beat together two eggs for short hair, three for long, and add in three tablespoons of olive

oil. Coat your hair from root to tip and leave on for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. Eggs

contain eleven essential nutrients and are packed with protein. Combine them with olive oil

for conditioning and nourishment and you have one powerful duo.

Coconut Craze

Warm three tablespoons of coconut oil and gently comb into your hair from root to tip. Wrap

your hair in a hot towel and let the oil sit for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. Loaded with

antioxidants, coconut oil works to smooth dry and damaged cuticles and lock in shine.
Life doesn't have to be dull and neither does your hair! It's time to shine! Open your

cabinet and start mixing, then sit back and bask in your natural glow.
