Is Shaving A Good Way To Remove Unwanted Hair and How To Shave Correctly

Shaving is probably the simplest and the least painful way to remove the unwanted hair. It is the most common, quickies and cheapest method to get rid of the unwanted hair and is especially effective on legs, underarms and bikini area.

When you shave you remove only the tip of the hair shaft that has grown out through the skin. In other words you don’t remove the hair root and unfortunately the hairs usually grow back after a few days / from 1 to 3 days/.
All you need when shaving is some warm hot water, a razor, shaving gel or foam and body lotion.
Invest in good razor designed especially for women. Razors come if different forms – there are standard razors and electric razors. Always use shaving gel or cream as this will prevent the razor cutting your skin and will make it easier for you to shave the hair. Shaving sometimes may scrape the natural oils off your skin and that’s why using a shaving gel is essential. The gel will allow the razor to glide easily and not nick or cut your skin.

Pros of shaving:
fast way to remove the unwanted hair

easy method

painless

inexpensive

Cons of shaving:

it lasts not more than 1 to 3 days
razor burn, bumps, nick and cuts
ingrown hair
the hair grow back thicker

How to shave correctly:

For a smooth and close shave use a new blade. Always shave in the shower with warm water – it will soften the hairs and opens the pores. It will relax the hair follicles, making them easier to shave.
Wet your legs and apply a shaving gel or shaving foam to keep the skin moist, making sure to cover the sides of your legs. If you don’t have a gel or cream lathering up with soap will also work.
Allow the hair to soak in water for 5/ 10 minutes, this way the hair will become softer and pliable.
Shave in the opposite direction of hair growth, staring at the ankle draw the razor up the leg. Don’t press too hard but don’t be too gentle. Always shave up the leg not down.
Rinse the blade between every stroke and keep it wet all the time
Repeat until all hairs are removed
Rinse your legs thoroughly and at the end apply a body lotion or cream to soften and moisturize your skin.
Tips:

Never shave your hands or face – the skin in these areas is very delicate and sensitive
Never shave a moustache as it will grow back stubbly
Always use shaving gel or foam when shaving
Shave in the shower after your skin has been softened by warm water
Always apply a moisturizing lotion or cream to keep your skin soft and moisturized
To avoid ingrown hairs shave in the direction the hair grows
Use blades that have safety guard wires to minimize the nicks and cuts
Change your blades often
If you need to shave a specific area twice, apply additional shaving gel
Never shave if your skin is very dry, sunburned or if you have open wounds
Never share your razor with someone else
Avoid shaving with a dull or blunt blade – a dull blade can leave your face feeling raw and sore

Never apply deodorant or antiperspirant right after shaving
Never shave directly with a razor
Exfoliate your skin before shaving to remove all the dead skin cells that could clog up your razor
Do not shave dry

How to take care of your bust

Women’s breasts have always been an object of desire and passionate discussion. There are various opinions on what’s the best breast size – big or small, but one thing is for sure: good looking breasts are the ones that are taken good care of. To take good care of your bust means to keep it firm and perky, with no sign of sagging. Gravity is the main enemy of breasts, especially big ones. However, there are a few things you can do to minimize damage caused by gravity and age. Here we offer some advice on how to take care of your bust. Stick to these simple rules and you’ll have beautiful breasts for quite a long time.

1. Keep a healthy weight.

Nothing affects the bust more than weight change. Avoid those diets that promise miraculous weight loss; it’s most likely to gain it again faster than you expect. But that’s not the worst thing about these diets. Losing weight fast make your breasts sag.

2. The most effective weapon against gravity is the right bra.

Be very careful when buying a bra. It may look gorgeous on the mannequin, but there’s no guarantee it will look good on you too. Moreover, and more important – it might not be comfortable enough. Make sure the bra you buy does a good job – to support and protect your bust. Women with larger breasts need a bra with stronger straps which can take some extra weight. Women wearing smaller sizes tend to buy padded bras, because they make their breasts look bigger. Padded bras, however, don’t allow the skin to breath, so it’s better to wear such lingerie on special occasions. An enhancer bra is a good choice for every-day wear. Also keep in mind that your bust changes with time and weight and the bras you’re used to buy, at a certain point may not work for you anymore.

3. Having a good posture is a must if you want good-looking breasts.

Standing up straight not only makes your bust look bigger and firmer, it pulls breast muscles and gives them more support. To keep these muscles in shape, you can also do specific exercise. To fix any posture problems, consult with a chiropractor and take the proper actions.

This may mean to join a fitness program or start practicing the proper sport.

4. And talking about bras and exercise…
When practicing intensive activities such as running, jogging, tennis, aerobics, etc., always wear a sports bra. Without wearing proper underwear you help sagging a lot. Studies have shown that sagging is 40% less with women wearing a regular bra and 78% less with women wearing a sports one. So what’s the conclusion? The right bra is essential if you want a beautiful and firm bust.

5. Dry skin.

The breasts and the d?collet? often suffer from dehydration, because women neglect these parts of the body when applying a moisturizer. The bust and the surrounding skin also need special care – apply a moisturizer regularly to preserve skin’s youth and elasticity. Remember, we fight sagging here!

6. Last but not least – health.

Examine your breasts regularly to keep track of any abnormalities. We advice you to choose a date that concurs with regular hormonal changes: ovulation, menstruation, etc, and go to check up at the same date in different months. You can also do some examinations while in the shower: raise one arm and use the other to examine the breast under the lifted arm.

AT HOME TREATMENTS FOR LARGE PORES:

Exoliation is essential for keeping your skin clean and to prevent enlargement of facial pores. Use a mild exfoliator to remove the dead skin cells twice a week, but make sure it’s appropriate for your skin type. Another alternative for at-home exfoliation are the Microdermabrasion kits such as: Lв’Oreal Dermo-Expertise Microdermabrasion Kit ($23),SPA Sciences Acne Microdermabrasion Kit ($50), Vita K Solution Microdermabrasion Kit($20), Nivea Visage Micro-Dermabrasion Kit Q 10 Gentle SPA ($20).
These kits usually include gentle exfoliator and post-treatment moisturizer. These products not only refinish skin’s texture but also erase sun damage, reduce discoloration, smooth signs of aging, refine pores and even out skin tone.
Reduce the excess oiliness
As we said large pores can be caused by excess oil (sebum) production and that’s why it’s essential to control the sebum production. Fortunately there are some products, specially designed for this aim.

They reduce and control the excess surface oil and prevent clogging of the pores and pore plugging which usually contributes to pore visibility. Such products are: Clearasil Daily Control Cream Cleanser with green tea and peppermint ($8),Phytomer Oligopur Shine Control Moisturizing Fluid ($35), Biore Shine Control Moisturizer($7), LancГґme Pure Focus Shine Control Moisturizing Fluid ($35), Clinique Pore Minimizer T-Zone Shine Control ($17.50). Using a pore minimizing (refining) products should be an essential part of your skin care regimen to keep your facial pores under control. These products target the production of sebum deep in the pores, clear away debris and reduce the size of the large pores.

One of the best pore minimizing products are: LancГґme Pure Focus Matifying Purifying Lotion($35), Clinique Pore Minimizer Refining Lotion ($18.50), Neutrogena Pore Refining Cream($11.50), Yves Rocher Pore Refining Moisturizer ($15), DermaDoctor Picture Perfect Pore Minimizing Solution ($40).
Look for moisturizers containing natural ingredients, vitamins, retinol to increase the collagen production.

Do a tightening face mask

Such pore refining masks are: Burtв’ Bee Pore Refining Mask ($9), Neutrogena Pore Refining Mask ($11.50), Estee Lauder So Clean Deep Pore Mask ($19.50), Avon Pore Minimizer Mask ($9.50), Biore Pore Perfect Self-Heating Mask

Steam your face
Steam your face once a week to thoroughly deep clean your large pores, to loosen debris and to open the pores. The high temperature helps the pores to open and this way the skin will clear itself from the toxins. Apply a deep cleaning face mask after steaming your face.
Tips:
o A mild exfoliation will help keep your pores clear and less apparent.
o Treat enlarged pores at early stage to prevent future problems.
o If untreated properly enlarged pores may lead to acne, skin infections and
frequent breakouts.

clean and well moisturizer.

to prevent clogging.

o You can improve the appearance of your pores by regular exfoliation.
o Use pore minimizing products every day.
o Always cleanse your face twice a day to keep your skin clean and fresh.
o Never skip to remove your makeup in the evening to prevent clogging of the
pores.
o Make sure all your makeup products are noncomedogenic.
o Remember: any irritation can cause the pores to overreact.
o Use lukewarm to rinse your face, hot water can enlarge facial pores.
o Never use harsh soaps and astringents to cleanse your face.
o Don’t squeeze blackheads or pimples cause your may stretch the pore.
o Use strips to remove blackheads on your nose, chin and forehead.
o Always wear sunscreen with SPF at least 15 because the sun may cause large
pores
o Eat many fruits and vegetables.

o Drink lots of water every day to keep yourself hydrated.
o Avoid applying any irritants to your skin because if your skin is irritated
the pores will appear larger.
o Keep your makeup tools clean to avoid inflammation.
o Rub your skin with an ice cube as it closes your pores and keeps any dirt
out.

HAVE A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT

All of us want to look young and beautiful. But how many really stay that way? As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day, and if you want to look attractive and fresh, you should follow not just an efficient beauty regime, but also a regular one.
For busy homemakers and corporate executives alike, it is not always possible to maintain a regular beauty regime, unless it is a habitual visit to the nearest beauty salon. Instead of spending money on artificial and expensive treatments, here is a simple schedule to groom yourself naturally. Just before you go to bed, allot a period of ten minutes. Yes, all it takes is just that little time to keep you looking young andglowing.

Foot Care
Feeling terrible after a tiring day? As soon as you return home, soak your feet in a basin of warm water mixed with a handful of fragrant bath salts. After 10 minutes, wash your feet (a simple soap and water wash is sufficient).
If you aren't feeling sleepy by this time, take a foot filer and scrub your heels. Using a toothpick (orange stick) clean the edges and grooves around your toe nails, to remove the dirt that gets accumulated. Apply cold cream or moisturizer before winding up. This will make the skin soft and prevent people from running away at the sight of your feet.

Face Wash/Scrub
Cleansing your face before going to bed is essential to take away the dirt you might have picked up in your day. Walnut scrub is ideal for oily skin. Make sure you scrub your face in circling motions and wash with cold water. For those with dry or sensitive skin can use baby oil or wet cleansing pads, followed by a night cream.

Night Cream/Moisturizing
The right time to apply any treatment, especially moisturizer - be it for whitening the skin, under-eye cream or simple moisturizing. It will revitalize your facial skin and work wonders on skin, which had been exposed to all the dirt and grime in the daytime. It would be a good idea to use it on your arms and neck, too.

Your Hair
While oil is not the elixir of life to hair, it IS essential in keeping it well conditioned and supple. Leave oil overnight and wash in the morning with shampoo to get better results.
Heat a little amount of oil (olive oil, almond oil, or plain old coconut oil) by placing it in a small container and swirling it in hot water. After the oil gets considerably hot, massage the scalp with your fingertips, in rotating motion, for at least 8 - 10 minutes. You can do this while soaking your feet in warm water.

Castor Oil
Applying pure castor oil to your eyebrows and lashes, particularly those who have scanty growth, will make them grow thick and long. For tired or puffed eyes, place a cotton pad soaked in chilled rose water. Keeping thin slices of cucumber ready in the refrigerator beforehand is ideal.
Grated cucumber, by itself or mixed with carrot juice, can be spread under the eye, to reduce black circles and sagging skin.

Lip Guard
And finally, a smear of Vaseline on your lips, and you can sleep like a child and get up like a fairy!

Breast Massage Reduces Breast Cancer Risk

A recent study* of 4,700 women found that women who wore bras had an increased chance of acquiring breast that the constant pressure that the bra puts on the breast is limiting the flow of toxins that need to be released cancer. It is very possible, resulting in the increased cancer rate. Any more than a gentle amount of pressure can flatten the lymphatic vessel and stop the toxic flow from the breast.
The Study found the highest rate of breast cancer in those who wore bras 24 hours a day, and the lowest rate in those who never wore bras. The study suggested that women should wear their bra less than 12 hours a day.
* Singer, Sydney Ross. Dressed to Kill: The Link Between Breast Cancer and Bras, Garden City Park, NY: Avery Pub. Group, 1995
Self Care Breast Massage
Gentle breast massage will benefit all women and lessen the risk of breast cancer.
Gentle-to-moderate kneading, rubbing, and squeezing strokes with the hands are sufficient to induce increased lymph and blood flow to the breast.
How to do it?

The breast can be kneaded and squeezed by contracting the palm and fingers of the hand (somewhat like a handshake) or the breast can be rubbed and stroked using the palm and fingers of the hand using gentle-to-moderate pressure.
* Women's breasts vary considerably in texture and sensitivity to pressure. Therefore, gentle strokes should be for those who are sensitive or have softer breasts. Moderate pressure may be more effective for those with firmer-textured breasts.
This procedure should be done at least twice a week. It can be done on bare skin, but you may find that using some vegetable oil may be more comfortable (do not use mineral-based or scented oils).
•Step One:
Use your fingers to gently smooth away from the nipple. These movements travel from the nipple and directly away using no more pressure than what you would apply to your eyelid. Any more pressure would flatten the lymphatic vessel and stop the flow of toxins and fluids. Also, make this stroke slow, not fast, for it to be effective.
•Step Two:
Gently massage the breast with a kneading-like motion, using lifting and pressing movements.
•Step Three:
Slowly and carefully use your hands to twist the breast in a clock-wise and counterclockwise direction, being careful not to put too much tension on the breast.
•Step Four:
Use both hands as shown to apply several, moderate pressure compressions to move out more pressure fluids.

Natural Breasts Care using herbs and vitamins.
Health Note: If during self-massage any lumps are felt, these lumps should always be investigated thoroughly by informing and visiting a qualified physician.
If any lump is ever found, that area should NOT be massaged until a physician is consulted.
